A Year in Review & a Special Gift for You

July marks the 1 year anniversary of Jennifer Stamps Photography. Deciding to “go pro” was one of the best decisions I’ve made (other than marrying my husband!). It brings me so much joy. I cannot thank you enough for embracing me with open arms and sharing your precious moments with me and my camera!  I have absolutely loved meeting all of you over the past year and preserving your memories.  So, I thought it might be fun to recap this whirlwind of a year and share some of my favorite moments with you! SXSW 2012

One of the best things about living in Austin is that there is always something to do… And being the Live Music Capital of the World, many times that “something to do” has to do with music! South by Southwest (SXSW) is a more-than-week-long event that occurs in Austin every spring. It starts with SXSW Interactive, then Films, then the Music. The music portion is a place where the greats come and pay tribute (Jay Z, Bruce Springsteen, Kanye West) and a place where hundreds of bands from all over the world come to showcase their music and hope to get a record deal. At any given time there will be upwards to 80 bands playing at the same time throughout downtown Austin. This year, surprisingly, is the first year I brought my camera with me – so I had to share!
